Work-Based Learning & Signature Programs
Together with DC DPR's Rec For All program and LaGuardia Community College, CUNY, this elementary through college pathway teaches audio and AI storytelling, with a toolkit made to support neurodivergent learners.
Apprentices team up with city transportation agencies to study their own streets, collect community data, and present safety solutions to officials. Their work has been featured in a national toolkit and on DDOT's official channel.
Through DC DPR's Rec For All program, apprentices cover live games in professional sports environments, running production and broadcast work and growing from first exposure to alumni-level access.
Earn and Learn Opportunities
CDMA Business Model is a registered SYEP work-based learning site. Apprentices placed with us through SYEP and Work, Learn & Grow are compensated for their labor through those programs, consistent with standard work-based learning practice.
Paid Work Experience
Apprentices placed through SYEP and Work, Learn & Grow are compensated for real work, not simulated tasks building income and experience at the same time.
